Mid Week 5 - Curiosity...

Updated: Jan 15, 2020

With all of this research, especially the research folder I've collected together, this underlying theme of the human curiosity has been deeply rooted in the cause for all of the answers I have been searching for. Using the observation of the night sky as the vessel for igniting curiosity could become an incredible gaming experience and give a lot of meaning. Who this would be targeted at and how it will be addressed should guide the designing process to make a really interesting project.

After speaking to Chris Marsden and Christian Knigge, both working under the university's umbrella, I recognised that we all seem to have that underlying curiosity to just learn and understand what it all means. Chris is working on a project to show the deeper parts of the universe and not so much the 'local' solar system or even just our own galaxy. Christian is teaching groups researching into the results of a star's death, so small but incredibly dense sources or gravity.

I will begin to understand what this curiosity might mean and how it could be inspired. Does this curiosity lay within every human? How can it be reignited? What ways might this be implemented?

What I want to achieve with this project: (To be built upon) To ignite curiosity into players
